This section covers general, data protection issues associated with the use of this website.
Revocation of your consent to data processing
Many data processing operations are only possible with your express consent. You can revoke an already given consent at any time. For this purpose, an informal communication by e-mail to us is sufficient. The legality of the data processing carried out until the revocation remains unaffected by the revocation.
Right to data portability
You have the right to have data that we process automatically on the basis of your consent or in fulfillment of a contract handed over to you or to a third party in a common, machine-readable format. If you request the direct transfer of the data to another responsible party, this will only be done insofar as it is technically feasible.
SSL or TLS encryption
For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as orders or requests that you send to us as the site operator, this site uses SSL or TLS encryption. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the fact that the address line of the browser changes from “http://” to “//” and by the lock symbol in your browser line. If SSL or TLS encryption is activated, the data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.
Information, blocking, deletion
Within the framework of the applicable legal provisions, you have the right at any time to free information about your stored personal data, its origin and recipient and the purpose of data processing and, if necessary, a right to correction, blocking or deletion of this data. For this purpose, as well as for further questions on the subject of personal data, you can contact us at any time at the address given in the imprint.
Objection to advertising e-mails
We hereby object to the use of contact data published within the framework of the imprint obligation to send advertising and information material that has not been expressly requested. The operators of the pages expressly reserve the right to take legal action in the event of the unsolicited sending of advertising information, such as spam e-mails.
Server log files
The provider of the pages automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us. These are:
– Browser type and browser version
– Operating system used
– Referrer URL
– Host name of the accessing computer
– Time of the server request
– IP address
This data is not merged with other data sources. The basis for data processing is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO, which permits the processing of data for the fulfillment of a contract or pre-contractual measures.
This site uses the mapping service Google Maps via an API. The provider is Google Inc, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. To use the functions of Google Maps, it is necessary to store your IP address. This information is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. The provider of this site has no influence on this data transmission. The use of Google Maps is in the interest of an appealing presentation of our online offers and an easy location of the places indicated by us on the website. This represents a legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f DSGVO.
If you send us inquiries via the contact form, the information you provide in the inquiry form, including the contact data you provide there, will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the inquiry and in case of follow-up questions. We do not pass on this data without your consent.
To manage the cookies and similar technologies used (tracking pixels, web beacons, etc.) and related consents, we use the consent tool “Real Cookie Banner”. Details on how “Real Cookie Banner” works can be found under this link.
Legal bases for the processing of personal data in this context are Art. 6 para. 1 lit. c DS-GVO and Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DS-GVO. Our legitimate interest is the management of the cookies and similar technologies used and the related consents. The provision of the personal data is neither contractually required nor necessary for the conclusion of a contract. You are not obliged to provide the personal data. If you do not provide the personal data, we will not be able to manage your consents.

Changes to and deletion of the data provided can only be made by Appcon AG.
Only personal data will be collected, processed and used via the application process in accordance with the principles described below and the requirements of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (hereinafter “DSGVO”) and the data protection law applicable to Appcon AG.
1. General information on data processing
We collect, process and use your personal data only for the purposes of carrying out the application process. Your provided personal data will not be used for any other purposes than the execution of the application process.
The processing of an applicant’s provided personal data will only take place with the applicant’s prior express consent.
The application procedure is not directed at minors. We request that persons under the age of 16 do not provide any personal data to us. 2. Email dispatch
At the beginning of the application process, your e-mail address is collected, by sending your application documents. By submitting an application by e-mail, you will receive a confirmation e-mail after receipt of the e-mail informing you that your application has been successfully received.
Based on your consent pursuant to Art. 6 (1) a) DSGVO, Appcon AG stores your personal data on cloud servers of the provider IONOS SE until your application documents are deleted. You can request the deletion of your provided application data at any time by sending an informal email to email@example.com.
3. Application process
Your application data (application photo, title, first name, surname, date of birth, e-mail address/login, password, user language, address data, place of residence, your letter of application and your CV, as well as additional attachments/documents such as certificates, certificates of attendance at training courses or certificates of additional qualifications, previous employment, training(s), language skills, information on how you became aware of the job advertisement) will be passed on to us after successful submission for the purpose of storing, evaluating, allocating and internally forwarding your application and for contacting you.
During the application process, your application data is only accessible to those responsible for the application process at Appcon AG. Only persons or colleagues at Appcon AG who need to be involved in filling the position, i.e. in the application process, can view your application documents via an established authorization. The existing authorization concept in the application process provides for role-dependent and local viewing rights. In principle, only those persons who are sensitized to the concerns of data protection and security and who are subject to a contractual obligation of confidentiality are granted access to your data. Your application data will not be passed on to third parties outside Appcon AG.
In our application process, we will not ask you to provide us with so-called sensitive personal data. However, if you voluntarily provide us with such information, you allow us to store this information as part of the application process and to use it for the purposes of the application process.
We store your personal data as long as this is necessary to achieve the purpose of storage or your consent to storage (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a) DSGVO) has been given. Subsequently, your data will be completely anonymized by us, unless you have consented to further storage in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. a) DSGVO in the event that the purpose of storage is no longer applicable. Your application data for an individual position will therefore be stored for a maximum of six months after any rejection and then completely anonymized by us.
4. Data storage
The data is stored centrally on backup servers of IONOS SE within the Federal Republic of Germany in compliance with national data protection regulations. IONOS SE does not use the data independently or pass it on to third parties. This data is not stored together with other personal data of the user.
Storage (max. six months) is possible in individual cases, if required by law. In this case, anonymization takes place in the form of deleting or alienating the user’s IP address. An assignment of the calling user is no longer possible. The collection of the data for provision and the storage of the data in log files is mandatory for the operation of the recruiting system. Consequently, there is no possibility of objection on the part of the applicant.
5. Data subject rights
We would like to point out that you have full control over the personal data you provide to Appcon AG when you send us your application. You can change, correct or mark for deletion/anonymization all your provided data at any time.
